Bob was a very special person. I remember when Larry Runions was dying, Bob and I took turns staying at the house over night to insure that Larry's airway was clear. This was the type of doctor Bob was. Back in the 70's, the team of Miller and Rayhill were the closest thing to royalty on the Island. Everyone knew them. Everyone went to them. They were the best. Grand Island was very fortunate to have Bob Miller establish his medical practice in the community. He will be missed.
Doc was such a great friend of mine for many years, I am so sorry for your loss.
Our family treated with Dr. Miller for many years. We were so saddened to learn that he wasn’t doing well and that his beloved oldest son had passed away. Scot Robert Miller. Scot was a great friend in the old neighborhood. Scot & Jim could always be found at Ed Ball playground! He isn’t even mentioned here but Dr. Miller always mentioned him during our office visits. May Dr. Miller enjoy his Heaven. Hopefully, he & Scot are reunited and flying to Michigan games…no plane required!
Prayers of comfort and peace to the whole Miller family on behalf of your siblings in Christ in the Upstate New York Synod. We give God thanks for Bob's life and love, faith and family. He shared his faith in love and service through the St. Timothy community and throughout Grand Island and beyond. May light perpetual shine upon him.
To Shari, Jim, Jordan and family We would like to extend our sincere condolences for your loss. Bob is fondly remembered and will be missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, David and Carol Hamlin
I offer my sincere condolences on the passing of Dr. Miller. He was a special friend and colleague of my father's, Dr. Gus Milkey, for many years. He became a special part of our family's life and experiences. I remember his shy smile and twinkling eyes as well as his compassionate and caring spirit. I hope your loving memories of him will help you during this difficult period of grief. Susan Milkey Cronin
