I am one of Henry’s longtime neighbors. We live behind him. Often worried about him when his doggies were out late at night and Henry would not be responding to their need to be brought back into the house, my son and I would always go over, even in the middle of the night, to wake Henry and make sure he was okay. We had several summer dinners with him at the neighbors homes (Anderson’s and Wasson’s). His presence and conversations were particularly taken to heart by my daughter who too is involved in medicine and my son and I who have a great love for dogs just like Henry. We were all so sad to hear that Henry and the dogs had to move away even though it was the best way to care for him. He was and will be missed. He was a fixture of our little neighborhood and Grand Island. Marge Scoma, Camille and Jacob Applegate (the kids)
Sincere condolences to all who loved Henry. We knew him through Airedale Rescue. He loved his dogs and the entire breed. I especially remember how happy he was to get Coupe. He will be missed. Christine and Tim Sheffer
