Ungaro, Audrey (nee DiZillo), January 4,,2022, of Grand Island. Wife of 59 years
of the late Sebastian Richard Ungaro. Mother of Deborah (Donald) Fabian, Richard
(Kim), Michael (Michele), and David (Mary) Ungaro. Also survived by 10
grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Sister of Rosalie "Rolly" (Patrick)
Dinan and Joseph (the late Theresa "Chickie") DiZillo. Daughter of the late John
and Lena DiZillo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday January 7
at 11:00 AM at St. Stephen’s Church 2100 Baseline Rd., Grand Island (live
streaming at ststephenswny.com). In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to
Hospice Buffalo.
Clarke, Gillman P., of Grand Island. After 68 fun-filled years Gillman Patrick
Clarke passed away peacefully December 31st, 2021 with his family holding his
hands. During his life full of good times he hitchhiked across the country,
owned his own roofing company, represented the Grand Island AFSCME Union as
President and most importantly built a home for his family that included his
high school sweetheart of 52 years Arlene (Mancuso) and his two boys Sam Carson
and Gillman Cody (Natalie) and two grand children, Jackson and Rosalie. He also
leaves behind his sister Jo Ann (Dan) Linenfelser, numerous nieces and nephews
and many lifelong friends. Gillman looks forward to joining his parents Francis
and Gillman Henry Clarke who will have a cold beer and shot waiting for him. A
memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, January 5th at 9:30am at St. Stephen’s
Church 2100 Baseline Rd., Grand Island and a Celebration of his Life will be
held at a future date. Flowers are gratefully declined and the family asks
donations be made to Hospice Buffalo.

Tuesday December 28 at 6 PM at Bible Fellowship Center 1136 Baseline Rd., Grand
Island. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project
or the SPCA.

positions in Dover, NH; Niagara Falls and Grand Island, NY. He was a Registered Professional Engineer, private pilot, and businessman. A born-again Christian, he was a member of the Dover NH Baptist Church, and the
Cleveland Hill United Methodist Church of Buffalo, NY. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, boating, hiking, golf, skiing, photography, gardening, and scuba diving. As an avid traveler, he made over 30 trips to 6 continents. He is
survived by his wife Sharon Stevens Downing, daughter Susan (Steven) Downing Nielsen, son Daniel (Cori) Paris Downing, three stepsons Jason (Jennifer), Jeffrey (Monica) and Jonathan Stevens and his 12 grandchildren. Private services
